Learn More About One Hour Cares and who we’re helping in Hampton Roads

Beginning December 2012, our founder Todd Kletz saw the challenges that small organizations faced when raising funds or gaining exposure for their programs. Instead of donating to larger organizations, we’ve decided to focus on the smaller local organizations that directly impact our community right here in Hampton Roads. What started by giving away $1,000 each month, evolved into a quarterly, $5,000 giveaway, and now to something even better. To date, we’ve given over $250,000 in donations!

Our goal is to continue shining a light on good people doing great work in our community.

Classic Air Care, Inc. was founded on September 1st, 1979, by Todd Kletz and Alan Heckel, driven by a singular mission: delivering prompt and outstanding heating and air conditioning services to the residents of Hampton Roads.

For over two decades, Classic Air Care proudly served customers across the Southside of Hampton Roads, specializing in residential HVAC installation and repair. Our commitment to excellence propelled our growth, earning us accolades such as “Best at the Beach” by The Virginian Pilot, with unwavering excellence until the retirement of co-founder, Alan Heckel.

Under Todd’s leadership, we expanded our reach to the Peninsula, catering to a broader service area. In 2004, Classic Air Care partnered with One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning to enhance and extend our services throughout Hampton Roads. Recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the “Top New Franchises,” One Hour’s rapid expansion, meticulous organization, and commitment to customer service resonated with our values, ensuring an even higher level of service for the residents of Coastal Virginia.

Today, One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Hampton Roads is guided under the careful watch of Ryan Kletz, Todd’s son, marking us as a true family-owned and operated business. With Ryan at the helm, we continue our legacy of excellence, delivering top-notch HVAC solutions with a personal touch, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of every customer we serve.
