  • Event Location : 5444 Greenwich Rd, Virginia Beach

In recognition of Brain Tumor Awareness Month, WINKS (With Intentional Kindness and Support) is proud to announce the 4th Annual Tee Up for Brain Tumors charity event, which will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Topgolf Virginia Beach, 5444 Greenwich Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. This highly anticipated event aims to raise funds and awareness for the organization’s Empathy in Action program, which provides financial assistance, resource connections, and emotional support to brain tumor patients and their caregivers in the Hampton Roads area. The event will feature three hours of unlimited Topgolf play, food, and fun, all while supporting a cause that directly impacts the lives of local brain tumor patients and their families.

“The challenges faced by brain tumor patients and their caregivers are profound. Many people don’t have a personal connection to brain tumor diagnosis, making it difficult to generate the awareness and support needed for meaningful change. This is why community involvement is so critical,” said Samaria Hunter, President of WINKS. “The Tee Up for Brain Tumors event is a chance for the community to come together, make a difference, and support our mission to improve the quality of life for those affected by brain tumors.”

Registration for the event will open February 11, 2025, and interested participants and sponsors are encouraged to sign up by Sunday, May 11, 2025. For additional information on sponsorship opportunities, event registration, or to learn more about WINKS, please visit Tee Up for Brain Tumors. WINKS, a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the only local organization focused solely on providing financial, logistical, and emotional support to brain tumor patients a nd their caregivers in the Hampton Roads area.
